This visa is for parents of settled Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen. You should meet the balance-of-the-family test.
There are following visa options available under this category:
The parent or parents of an Australian citizen, settled permanent resident, or settled eligible New Zealand citizen can apply for this visa. If approved, this visa will enable the parent(s) to move permanently to Australia and join their children.
The parents must be sponsored by a child or another eligible sponsor in Australia to qualify for the visa.
The Contributory Parent visa (subclasses 173 and 143) enables parents to reside in Australia provided their child is an eligible citizen of New Zealand, an Australian permanent resident, or both. The contributory parent 173 visa is a short-term visa that entitles the holder to two years of residence in Australia.
The Aged Parent Visa is a permanent visa. It is available to older parents who are already in Australia on temporary visa if their child is an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen who is settled in Australia. This visa makes them eligible for a number of benefits, including health insurance and other insurance plans.
The Contributory Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 884) is a temporary visa that allows to stay in Australia for up to 2 years while Contributory Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 864) is a permanent visa that allows you to stay in Australia indefinitely.

The child visa (Subclass 101) is a permanent visa which allows children outside Australia to live with their parents in Australia. With a child visa, you are permitted to study and work in Australia (subclass 101).
The child visa (subclass 802) allows an eligible parent to sponsor their child in Australia for an indefinite period. A parent will submit an application on behalf of a child who is under the age of 18.
The Dependent Child Visa (subclass 445) is for a child whose parent holds a temporary partner visa that does not include child. It is a temporary visa. If this visa is granted, the child also needs to make a permanent Partner visa application before the parent's permanent Partner visa is decided.
